It structures answers the way a strong candidate would actually speak them in an interview — with the right framing, appropriate depth, and language that sounds natural coming from you. It also tailors everything to the specific role you are going for, so you are not reciting a generic answer.

No. ZoomGuru works for any professional role. Paste in the job description and your coach understands the context. Whether you are interviewing for a product management role, a finance position, a marketing job, or a software engineering role, it adjusts its guidance accordingly.

From there, press Ctrl+Shift+L to speak a question, or Ctrl+Shift+S to screenshot something on your screen. Your coach responds in under two seconds. You can run as many practice sessions as you need before the real interview.

There are four main hotkeys:

Ctrl+Shift+L — Speak a question and get a coached answer.
Ctrl+Shift+S — Screenshot your screen and get a walk-through.
Ctrl+Shift+D — Toggle auto mode, which listens continuously without pressing a button.
Ctrl+Shift+H — Hide or show the overlay instantly.
Ctrl+Shift+C — Clear the current answer from the screen.

No. ZoomGuru uses OS-level content protection — the same mechanism used to prevent screen recording of protected content. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex are all blind to it. Your interviewer sees only your normal desktop.

Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) are fully supported right now. macOS support is in development and coming soon. Download the Windows version and you are set up in under two minutes.

No. Everything you practise lives only in memory during the session. When you close ZoomGuru, it is all gone. We do not store your questions, save your transcripts, or use anything from your sessions to train any AI model. Your preparation is completely private. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Not at all. Windows Defender shows a warning the first time any new app without a paid publisher certificate is run. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" and the prompt will not appear again. The app only accesses your microphone and screen when you activate it with a hotkey — nothing runs in the background without your action.

Your subscription can be used on up to two devices. The first device you use after subscribing is registered automatically. Contact support if you need to switch to a different device.

We offer two plans:

Both plans include unlimited coaching sessions, all question types, role-specific tailoring, and all future updates. New users also get a free 30-minute trial with no payment required.

Yes. Every new user gets a free 30-minute trial with full access to all features. No credit card required. One trial per device. After the trial ends you can subscribe to continue.

Yes, with no penalty. Monthly plans end at the close of the current billing period. Yearly plans can be cancelled before renewal — you keep access through the end of the year you paid for. No awkward calls, no cancellation forms.
