Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident when you subscribe to ZoomGuru. This policy explains exactly when you can expect a refund and how to request one.

If ZoomGuru does not work as described and we cannot fix the problem within 48 hours of you reporting it, you are entitled to a full refund within the first 7 days of your subscription.

Free Trial

Every new user gets a free 30-minute trial with no payment required. We encourage you to use the trial to evaluate ZoomGuru before committing to a paid plan. Refund requests based on not liking the product after a paid subscription are evaluated against whether the trial was used.

When We Issue Refunds

We will issue a full refund in the following situations:

  • Technical failure: The app does not function as described (e.g. the overlay fails to load, answers do not stream, transcription is broken) and we are unable to resolve the issue within 48 hours of your report.
  • Duplicate charge: Your account was charged more than once for the same subscription period.
  • Unauthorised charge: You did not authorise the payment and can demonstrate this to us.
  • Service unavailability: ZoomGuru was unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours during your paid period due to issues on our side.

When We Do Not Issue Refunds

We do not issue refunds in the following situations:

  • You changed your mind after subscribing and used the service during the period
  • You forgot to cancel before a renewal date
  • You were unable to use the service due to your own device, internet, or setup issues
  • The app worked correctly but did not meet your personal expectations beyond what is described on our website
  • More than 7 days have passed since the charge you are disputing

Monthly Plans

Monthly subscriptions are billed each month. If you cancel, your access continues to the end of the current period and no further charges are made. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for unused days within a billing period.

Yearly Plans

Yearly subscriptions are billed annually. If you cancel within the first 7 days and have not used the service substantially, you may request a refund under our standard refund criteria above. After 7 days, cancellation ends future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund for the current year.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with the following:

  • The email address on your ZoomGuru account
  • The date of the charge you are disputing
  • A brief description of the issue you experienced

We will respond within 2 business days. If your request is approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
